What was our motivation to take part in this year’s Constantinus? A nomination, of course the prospect of a prize, but above all the conviction that we have achieved something outstanding for our customers.

That’s why we ventured to submit our successful BASF Augmented Reality project. Many companies speculated that they could take home the Constantinus Award, Austria’s largest consulting and IT prize, because it was already awarded for the 14th time and year after year the popularity increased continuously. With the e-mail that invited us as nominees to the gala, it was finally clear that we were among the top 5 of more than 150 submitted projects in the category Industry 4.0/ Internet of Things. Now the guesswork began. Was it possible to read from this email what place we had reached? How do you prepare for the worst-case scenario? Who from the company can attend the big gala in Linz?

Microsoft and Augmensys began their relationship as development co-operation in 2013. The first common goal was to make Augmented Reality work on the briefly before published Windows 8 platform for Enterprise and industrial customers. Therefore, UBIK was no longer developed just for android but also for devices based on the Microsoft touch environment.

After close to three years they had a silver anniversary gift for each other. In the competence area „Application development “Augmensys qualified itself for the silver partnership. A silver competence partner today is better prepared for high-specialized customer requirements than in former times a Microsoft Certified Partner was, and has to prove those competencies constantly. Partners for a silver competence must employ two Microsoft Certified Specialists in the respective area, proof several customer references, as well as complete certain competence tests successfully.

Augmensys experience the many advantages out of this partnership already live. As a bright example, is here the successful conversion to Office 365 to mention, which we could smoothly implement within a few days. Above all has the silver partnership triggered a still deeper co-operation within the development, marketing and distribution of our common products!

Following preliminary meetings at the HXGN live event in Las Vegas in June 2015, PerfectProjects Inc., based in Houston Texas and Augmensys GmbH have signed a partnership agreement. The scope of the agreement includes software sales and distribution and consulting services for software implementation.
This move is significant for both businesses, as Augmensys continues an impressive global expansion program, and PerfectProjects adds a unique and revolutionary software component to its previous expert asset information management consulting practice.
