Constantinus Award 2016

What was our motivation to take part in this year’s Constantinus? A nomination, of course the prospect of a prize, but above all the conviction that we have achieved something outstanding for our customers.

That’s why we ventured to submit our successful BASF Augmented Reality project. Many companies speculated that they could take home the Constantinus Award, Austria’s largest consulting and IT prize, because it was already awarded for the 14th time and year after year the popularity increased continuously. With the e-mail that invited us as nominees to the gala, it was finally clear that we were among the top 5 of more than 150 submitted projects in the category Industry 4.0/ Internet of Things. Now the guesswork began. Was it possible to read from this email what place we had reached? How do you prepare for the worst-case scenario? Who from the company can attend the big gala in Linz?

We have reached the podium and it was not the third place – but unfortunately it was not the first either. But with justified pride we carried the certificate of the 2nd place home. With the project “Augmented Reality for operation in butadiene plants” at BASF, the team made it to the top of the Constantinus series. Thanks to all colleagues who successfully implemented this project and helped us to such a top position in such a dense field of participants!
