We live in a time of digitalization. New technologies and faster data transfer enable new business models and thus increase competitiveness. However, awareness of the need to integrate digital technologies into the business processes of small and medium-sized enterprises is still low. Therefore, the main focus of the project is to provide adequate assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises from Austria and Slovenia in the implementation of new digital solutions in order to facilitate the internationalization of their business activities and increase their competitiveness on the Polish market.

The general aim of the project is to increase the number of internationalized small and medium-sized enterprises in the program area, with a focus on companies offering products and services in the field of Industry 4.0 or digitization processes. These companies have special requirements when entering foreign markets.

The Project:

UBIK Solutions ApS, trusted partner of Augmensys in the Nordic region, was awarded the contract for a mobile solution for offshore Maintenance and Inspection, as part of the Tyra Redevelopment Project (TRP).

UBIK offers a platform that is connected to multiple source systems and can therefore consolidate data from different sources, to support and enrich common on-site use cases. The most important information is thus always available at the right place and at the right time for the user, online as well as offline. The mobile solution integrates ERP, and work permit software systems seamlessly – to ensure that not only quality, but also safety are trusted companions of workers in the field. In addition, integrations to Engineering Data Management Systems and Real Time Data sources provide the users a constant live insight into the operational status of their workplace.

Due to the threat of the COVID-19 virus we decided to use the Homeoffice option. The safety of our team and the containment of the virus are of utmost importance to us. Our flexible workflow allows us to switch to remote control without having to overcome major obstacles.

However, we are missing the team bonding but still have our daily coffee breaks together.
