Roles in the digitisation of small and medium-sized production companies. A pragmatic approach to practice, benefits and strategies. The terms “Industry 4.0” and “Internet of Things” are used to describe visions of the future that promise comprehensive networking of products, fully automated processes, modular production processes, individualized products and much more.

The aims of the business meeting are to convey the possibilities and benefits of digitisation and the corresponding strategies to manufacturing companies and their potential suppliers and partners. Concrete examples of digitisation will also be presented. Together with i5invest Augmensys will give a lecture on the topic “What relevance do startups have in the implementation of industry 4.0 strategies?
