Augmensys and Microsoft – a Silver Shining Partnership

Microsoft and Augmensys began their relationship as development co-operation in 2013. The first common goal was to make Augmented Reality work on the briefly before published Windows 8 platform for Enterprise and industrial customers. Therefore, UBIK was no longer developed just for android but also for devices based on the Microsoft touch environment.

Rather soon, the first results could be download in the Windows store successfully. However, this was just the beginning of the journey: beside the client development, Augmensys recognized quickly the advantages of Windows Azure for its server components and used from then on the matured technology as an efficient standard offer for their cloud computing customers. Development means progress, therefore it was inevitably for our F&E department to adapt UBIK on Windows 10 standards last summer.

After close to three years they had a silver anniversary gift for each other. In the competence area „Application development “Augmensys qualified itself for the silver partnership. A silver competence partner today is better prepared for high-specialized customer requirements than in former times a Microsoft Certified Partner was, and has to prove those competencies constantly. Partners for a silver competence must employ two Microsoft Certified Specialists in the respective area, proof several customer references, as well as complete certain competence tests successfully.

Augmensys experience the many advantages out of this partnership already live. As a bright example, is here the successful conversion to Office 365 to mention, which we could smoothly implement within a few days. Above all has the silver partnership triggered a still deeper co-operation within the development, marketing and distribution of our common products!
